It's like the happy ending to a Disney movie: A smitten-sounding Demi Lovato revealed Friday that she is indeed dating Joe Jonas.

During an interview with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush on his radio program, The Billy Bush Show, the host asked Lovato if she'd ever dated any of the Jonas Brothers, "Umm, maybe," she said coyly.

"Which one? Joe?" asked Bush, to which Lovato said, "Yeah. He's actually… he's my best friend."

Pressing for clarification, Bush said, "So you guys went from boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?"
"No kind of the opposite," the 17-year-old Sonny with a Chance star explained.
"Oh? So you're dating him now?" asked Bush.
"Umm, yeah he is my best friend and he is incredible," Lovato finally confessed.
Lovato described her Camp Rock 2 costar as a "complete gentleman," who "treats me to the most amazing places."
She added, "He's perfect."

Lovato first met Jonas, 20, on the set of Camp Rock in 2007 and toured with the Jonas Brothers the following year. The pair have long been rumored to be a couple, which Lovato had previously denied. The pair recently filmed a video for their duet "Make A Wave."

For Nick Jonas, things are going well. He’s sold a bajillion Jo Bros records, spent his teen years fending off fans, and dated Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus. Now all he wants is the world to take him seriously.

He looks the part—the coif, the confident attitude, the aloof eyes, and most of all, these pictures prove it—but is Nick Jonas a rock star? The 17-year-old has, up till now, been known as the curly-haired, youngest sibling in the Jonas Brothers. He wasn’t the lead singer; that duty fell to the more flamboyant middle brother, Joe. But he was the driving force, the songwriter, the image-maker, the brains.

Conventional wisdom has long held that Disney pulls the Jonas strings, but more often than not, it’s Nick behind the scenes calling the shots. His adult entourage laughs about calling him “the president,” but the deference they show him as he strides into the Soho Grand lobby for this interview makes clear that the nickname is no joke. Now Nick is ready to push things further. With his new band, Nick Jonas and the Administration, and its first album, Who I Am, he plans to show the world that he’s grown up.

Nick Jonas’s family hails from New Jersey, by way of Texas. His father, Kevin Jonas, Sr., a former evangelical preacher and lifelong musician, raised Nick and his brothers on a diet of Jesus and church music—much of which he wrote and sang himself. To this day the Jonas family is devout; Nick and his brothers famously wear purity rings signifying celibacy before marriage (eldest and recently married brother Kevin has presumably removed his). But Jonas, Sr. was always fascinated by the world of secular pop, and early on he exposed the family to the Billboard Top 40. Car rides were spent analyzing melodies, choruses, and hooks. “My real musical discovery started when I was 10 with Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5, and acts that I connected with because they were young when they were doing it, like me,” says Nick. “Then I kind of came into my own a couple of years later, I found new artists that shaped my musical landscape. For instance, Kings of Leon played a big part in that.”

It’s significant that, without prompting, Kings of Leon is the contemporary band that Nick references. In certain ways, it is a band that couldn’t be farther from his peculiar plane of existence. In other ways, it couldn’t be closer.

The whiskey-soaked members of the alt-country and blues inspired Kings of Leon are rock stars in the
subversive mold of the Rolling Stones. Unlike Nick, they notoriously drink, smoke, and screw. Like Nick, they possess the rare—particularly in light of today’s abysmal recording industry—ability to sell albums. The band’s last release went platinum in the U.S., sextuple-platinum in the U.K., and octuple-platinum in Australia. As a Jonas Brother, Nick can claim similar sales stats (he’s actually sold double or triple that).

But a deeper similarity explains Nick’s affinity. Kings of Leon is three brothers and a cousin: Caleb, Nathan, Jared, and Matthew Fallowill. The brothers Fallowill were raised in an evangelical Christian home. Their father had been a preacher in their youth. Of course, no one has ever accused Kings of Leon of being a Christian band, but lead singer Caleb Fallowill has no problem connecting his music career with his religious upbringing. “Every kid at one point or another looks up to his dad. I knew for a long time that I wanted to do something big, and for a long time I thought it was gonna be to take over preaching from my dad,” he says. “You wanna feel like what you are doing is important. For that reason, when we go onstage, we pour our hearts out.”

And that’s exactly how Nick sees it. “My faith plays a big part in who I am: a Christian guy playing pop-rock music. I’m in a pop-rock band, not a Christian band,” he says. “I admire Kings of Leon. I think their records are amazing. Just from hanging out with them I can say they’re good guys. It’s cool to see that they get to do what they love. But I think they clearly have an appreciation for where they came from, and it has shaped who they are.”

Nick Jonas wants, and perhaps deserves, to be seen as a rocker cut from the same cloth as the Fallowills, but he struggles to explain why he is a Disney band and they are not, why he has never rebelled like they and so many of his heroes have. “Maybe it’s about preference,” he says. “I just prefer to make people happy with my music. I prefer to see a smile on someone’s face after I sing a song.”

That may be true, but the lyrics on Who I Am suggest something more is going on. In the song “Rose Garden,” he sings the words: “She was young but not naïve/always wise beyond her years/hoping that no one would see/ every time she dried her tears.” In “Vesper’s Goodbye,” he sings: “Like a bullet through the chest/lay me down to rest/It’s a lover’s final breaths/Now I die, kiss your tender lips goodbye.” None of these lines are making anyone smile; they hint at something that, if not subversive, is at least brooding.

When that’s pointed out to Nick, it’s almost as if he hadn’t before realized that his music was no longer as innocuous as it had been with the Jonas Brothers. He admits, “Yeah, there are songs that aren’t necessarily happy songs. They more make you think. That’s intriguing to me, just as a beautiful but sad movie might be.”

So then, is it really preference like he claims, or does his religion, or Disney, or anything else constrain him to a clean image? “Constrained is the wrong word,” he says carefully. “The best way to describe it would be thoughtful, just thinking everything through. Okay, so, it’s not all uplifting on the record, but when I do a meet and greet with the fans, or any interaction with them, I’m smiling; I’m happy; I’m trying to make them happy. With the record, with the art, I do want to express myself fully; express the thoughts and stories and ideas that I have. And I think on this record I did the best job I could with that.”

At the end of the day, the ones who really matter—Nick Jonas’s fans—don’t care about any of this. They will line up for tickets, scream their heads off at shows, and go buy an album afterward. It’s a near certainty. The critics will whine and moan about his success. But they will likely look back and see this album as Nick’s Justin Timberlake moment, the moment he transitioned out of his former boy-band plasticity into a newly independent identity. It may be tough medicine to swallow, but they’ll be forced to admit that, yes, Nick Jonas is a rock star

In the upcoming TV movie, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas reprise their roles as Shane and Mitchie. The twosome return to Camp Rock for another summer of music and fun. Their love blossoms as they battle against a new state-of-the-art music camp called Camp Star that has opened across the lake.

Joe and Demi both caught up with People mag to dish on working with each other again and their on-screen romance. Demi revealed about working with the brothers again: “They are so easy to work with and we just hangout and have fun. They are like my brothers and they are my best friends. They always make me laugh.”

Joe shared about the Shane and Mitchie romance, “The romance between Shane and Mitchie is still there and it continues to grow. They want to spend more time together but [finding time is a bit] difficult for them to do, because she is trying to help out the camp as much as she can.”

Nick Jonas steps out of his comfort zone

When Nick Jonas releases the full-length debut from his new band, Nick Jonas and the Administration, in February, it just might squash a few widely held preconceptions — not only of what kind of music a Jonas Brother is capable of making, but of what kind of album can be recorded in country music’s capital.

Jonas recorded the disc, entitled Who I Am, at Nashville’s Blackbird Studios in the spring of 2009, during a two-week break from Jonas Brothers duties. His band is comprised of a team of A-list musicians who’ve backed up the likes of Prince, Backstreet Boys, Switchfoot and Rob Thomas.

We caught up with Nick Jonas during another rare break: while he was out Christmas shopping with his family. He shared his thoughts on the project, the future of the Jonas Brothers and Nashville in advance of his concert on Monday, Jan. 4 at the Ryman Auditorium.

Your Ryman show on Monday comes exactly one year after you performed there with the Jonas Brothers and special guests. We’re starting to get the feeling that you like that room.

“Yeah, I think we’re going to try to make it an annual thing. Every time you’re there, you can kind of feel the presence of the legends that played there. The crowd is full of musicians who are probably better than I am. I try to keep that in mind and have a good time.”

What made you choose Nashville as the setting to record your solo album?

“All of us in the band wanted to step outside of our comfort zone, to go to a place where we hadn’t spent too much time before, where we could get away from our element. We wanted to focus on this record.”

What led to the decision to make a new project? Had these songs been kicking around for years, or did you write them with a new project in mind?

“The writing for this record really started in October of last year. I was writing songs that, stylistically, weren’t necessarily like the Jonas Brothers sound, and I didn’t know what to do with them. I met with my brothers and talked to them about this idea that I had to do a side project, to go to Nashville with these guys and record (an album). I wanted to make sure that they were OK with it first before I made any move on it. They said, ‘We’re excited for you. We know that you have a lot that you’re passionate about, and we’re here to support you.’ So that worked out nicely.”

The Administration’s first live performance was during the televised Grammy nominations concert on CBS. What’s it like starting a brand new project with such a high profile? Is it a new kind of pressure for you?

“It is, but there’s also a sense of newness to it as well. It’s kind of like starting over in a way, although the opportunities I’ve been given to premiere this project have been great so far.”

You made this album during a rare two-week break from Jonas Brothers duties. Do you consider yourself a workaholic? Is it hard for you to take breaks?

“It is. I don’t think I’m a workaholic, necessarily. I know that there are people out there who are much more talented than I am who would love to be able to play with some of these guys and to do what I get to do, so I’m just trying to take advantage of the opportunity, and really trying to enjoy each moment.”

Are fans keen on the idea of you spending time away from your brothers? What has their response been like?

“So far the response has been amazing from the fans. Seeing that they’ve been so supportive and so passionate really shows me that the Jonas Brothers are so strong. It’s true that we have the best fans in the world, so I’m thankful for them and all that they do every day to support us.”

Do you think The Administration’s sound hints at all at where the Jonas Brothers might go stylistically in the future?

“I’m not sure. We’re trying to continue to grow and learn as much as we can along the way. I think that we’re going to take a little while on the next record, really take our time, considering that we’ve released four albums in three and a half years. We all kind of said, ‘Let’s take our time on the next one and really do it the right way.’ That’s what we’re planning to do.”

Would you consider working in Nashville again for any future projects?

“I think so. I love Nashville. It’s Music City. The people there are amazing. It’s crazy to think that you can walk down the street and probably two out of five people you see are musicians or songwriters of some sort. It makes for a good environment to be creative in.”

Jonas Brothers Promote XBox 360

The Xbox 360 gaming system, sold by the Microsoft Corporation, is being endorsed by the Jonas Brothers rock band in a campaign that appears in properties owned by the brothers media partner, the Walt Disney Company. Xbox 360 joins a short list of brands to be promoted by the Jonases, whose music appeals to the teenagers, preteenagers and mothers composing the target audience for the gaming system.

The Jonas-centric ads are being introduced along with work from T.A.G. like commercials and video clips featuring the actress Jane Lynch of the hit Fox series Glee which are on television and online.

The Jonas campaign is also on television and online, as well as in print and on radio. It is timed to reach consumers just as they are thinking about what, if anything, they are going to buy during the coming holiday shopping season.

Among the aspects of the Jonas campaign is an opportunity to watch on Xbox Live a free episode of Jonas the brothers sitcom on the Disney Channel, with â€œa custom opening segment produced with the brothers, said Tricia Wilber, executive vice president at the Disney media sales and marketing group in New York.
Many of those media are taking part in the Jonas campaign. For instance, visitors to disney.com/morefuntime can learn about a sweepstakes with the grand prize being a chance to hang out with the Jonases and experience Xbox 360 together.

The Jonas Brothers say they cannot wait to touch down in the UK.

The band are on the European leg of their world tour and after gigs in Holland and Beligum, they are due to perform in Britain.

The first UK date is the LG Arena in Birmingham on November 17 before moving to Newcastle, London and Manchester.

Kevin, 22, said: “We have the Wembley shows, and we got a bunch of other shows and so we’re really really excited.”

He added: “We can’t wait to get there to see all the fans.”

Jonas’ picked up for a second season on Disney Channel
Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas are back. The Disney Channel has announced they have picked up the hit teen comedy ‘Jonas’ for a second season. The Jo Bros will be returning to television next year.
The Disney Channel’s Worldwide entertainment president, Gary Marsh reportedly called Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas to personally give them the good news. Marsh said in a statement, “These guys are the superstars of their generation. We had the opportunity to extend our relationship with them, which we did.”

All three Jonas Brothers have been making headlines in the past few months. Kevin who’s engagement broke the hearts of teen girls everywhere has set a date for his wedding. But, he’s keeping it a secret. Jonas mom, Denise says that the happy couple will be keeping the date of their impending marriage quiet.
Joe sparked teen fan interest when he cut his beloved mane into a new and shorter ‘do, leaving the girls going wild for the handsome Jonas. JONAS & Living the Dream Renewed for 2nd Seasons

The Jonas Brothers are keepers at Disney Channel.

The cable channel has ordered a second season of the pop stars’ comedy series “Jonas” and has tapped new executive producers: showrunner Lester Lewis and director Paul Hoen.

Disney Channels Worldwide entertainment president Gary Marsh called Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, who are in Italy as part of the European leg of their Live Nation-produced world concert tour, to give them the pickup news.

Production on Season 2 of “Jonas” is slated to begin in February for a premiere in the middle of next year.

Additionally, Disney Channel has renewed the trio’s short-form reality series “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream” for a second season. Filming already is under way for a premiere early next year.

“These guys are the superstars of their generation,” Marsh said. “We had the opportunity to extend our relationship with them, which we did.”

Disney’s collaboration with the brothers extends beyond the TV series to the successful “Camp Rock” TV movie franchise, concert tours and concert movies.

“Jonas” premiered in the spring to solid numbers but couldn’t match the heights of Disney Channel hits like “Hannah Montana.” “Jonas” has been winning its Sunday time slot in key kids demographics, averaging 3.4 million viewers.

Disney brass is looking to take the show to the next level with the addition of Lewis, who has worked on “The Office” and “The Larry Sanders Show,” and Hoen, who has directed nine Disney Channel movies.

“Jonas” is unusual in being a single-camera comedy on a channel dominated by multicamera sitcoms.

“Lester Lewis, who is coming off ‘The Office,’ has a particular sensibility and is an expert in the craft of creating single-camera comedy, while Paul Hoen brings a unique visual style,” Marsh said.

Meanwhile, the executive producers who launched “Jonas” — sitcom veteran Michael Curtis and Roger S.H. Schulman — have departed the series.

Hoen has directed the Jonases in an episode of their show and in the upcoming sequel “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”

“The Jonas brothers are a rare combination of hugely talented and tremendously likable,” the WME-repped Lewis said.

The new season of “Jonas” will follow the brothers as they set out on a summer vacation in Los Angeles that leads to them landing gigs in show business.

In addition to the brothers, “Jonas” co-stars Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson.

We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich. Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing. This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever cancelled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform as a group tonight.

The band, the management, and the promoter apologize that the show must be cancelled on such short notice. We will do everything we can to revisit Zurich in the future and perform for our wonderful fans. Tickets can be refunded as of Monday, 9 November until 31 December 2009 at the presale agency.

The November 4 episode of The Bonnie Hunt Show was all-kids, with Disney Channel stars Chelsea Staub, Moises Arias, Sterling Knight, and Mitchel Musso, among others. And who better to give insight into the rumors of the Jonas Brothers possibly breaking up than a fellow Disney friend? Chelsea said, “We’re growing up and I think Nick wants to try something new and try something on his own and become a little more independent.” That doesn’t sound too bad, actually. A solo album from Nick could be pretty awesome.

Chelsea continued saying,“ I know he has Kevin and Joe’s full support and don’t worry, the JoBros as a unit aren’t going anywhere. We still get many more concerts and albums from them.” It’s obvious the brothers love working together, and anything they do separately will make them better as a whole. So don’t panic!

As for Mitchel, he performed his first single, “Shout It!” on the talk show, and those lucky audience members received a copy of his self-titled debut album.

Hello Everyone,
October has been another busy month, my brothers and I just finished filming Camp Rock 2 and head back on the road this weekend to finish up our World Tour. We are going back to Latin and South America for a few dates and then it is off to Europe for the final leg of our World Tour.
Traveling to new places and meeting new people is one of my favorite parts of touring, but sometimes it can also make it more challenging for me to carefully monitor my blood glucose levels. I always make sure to have my CONTOUR® meter with me, and I take the time to check my glucose levels, no matter how busy I get – even when on stage sometimes.
Also, this month I’ll be announcing the winners of the Express Your Simple Win contest. I’m so impressed by all of the entries that were submitted. You all have so many diverse accomplishments to be proud of, and it made my job of selecting the winners nearly impossible. Congratulations to all of those who entered the contest and thank you for taking the time.

A news story hit the internet today concerning Nick Jonas & The Administration. We are so excited to share it with you…OUR FANS.

From Nick:
About 6 months ago, the three of us had a 2 week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts. Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancé Danielle. I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side project (Nick Jonas & The Administration) with 4 musicians – guys that I had met and worked with before. If I was to describe the sound to someone… I would say its “heart & soul”, because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.
We’ve said from the beginning of our career as the Jonas Brothers that anything we do outside of the group is a side project because you can’t break up brothers. My brothers are my biggest supporters, and were on the phone with me every day while I was in the studio asking how it was going, and telling me they couldn’t wait to hear the record.
My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour AS THE JONAS BROTHERS next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.
I am so excited to share more details about my project with all of you as we come closer to the end of the year, but for right now, Kevin, Joe and I have a show to play in Venezuela!

We are so proud of our brother Nick. We know that we will be doing music together for the rest of our lives. But we are thrilled for you to hear these songs that were on his heart. More bad news for the UK fans!

Firstly we found that there would be no foam guns or water screen at the Wembley show!
Then we found out that this looks like it could be the case at all other UK venues (still finding out!)
Now, the seating plan for Wembley has been altered so that there is now no catwalks or mini stages. This would explain the inability to have foam guns or a water screen, as they are both used on the mini stages! This also means that it is less likely that they'll be able to use the trampoline as they can't run up to it!
Next they'll probably take away all the other extras, let's just hope they don't get rid of the centre stage!

Calling all UK Jonas Brothers fans!
I need your help with this project.As you should all know we are currently arranging this project so that everyone going to a UK concert this November will get to meet up with @JonasBrosUK representatives where you will have the opportunity to make friends, play games & raise money for charity.
What I need from you!
1. To go to see the representatives at the concert & have fun! (I'll let you know where they'll be nearer the time!)
2. Do you have, or would you be able to get, any Jonas Brothers/Camp Rock/Demi Lovato/Disney etc. Merchandise that you could let us have to raffle, with all the money going to charity!
3. We are hoping to have a quiz that everyone will be able to do, so we need some questions. If you have suggestions for questions, please send them to me. We need some really easy ones, but some difficult ones too! Don't forget to send me the answer too! We also need a prize for this, if you'd be able to donate one to us, I'd really appreciate it!
4. As I have mentioned before I'd like to raise money for the Change For The Children Foundation, set up by the Jonas Brothers. However, I can't seem to find a way in which to donate to it! If you know how to, or can find out, it'd be really useful!
5. Lastly, we have yet to decide where the representatives will be for you to find them, but we need a way for you to easily identify them. They should all be wearing a badge with the @JonasBrosUK logo on, but have you got any suggestions on how else we can make them stand out. And for those of you going to the Birmingham concert who'd like to meet me! How should I stand out? :P

No foam & water at UK concerts!

It looks as though most of the UK concerts will be without the foam guns they used in the USA & the water screen they use during 'Lovebug'. Someone has emailed Wembley arena, they have confirmed that neither will be used at the concerts on 20th & 21st November, at this point.I, like many others, have contacted the Birmingham & Manchester arenas about this, & have yet to get a reply, but I haven't been able to contact the one for Newcastle, if someone could do this for me I'd be really grateful!I'll let you know more as I know it!

JB UK Tour Dates Error

A couple weeks ago, fans of Jonas Brothers were overjoyed to see 11 seemingly confirmed tour dates pop up on Live Nation for their favorite sibling trio, complete with presale and public onsale times. However, the pop sensations recently stepped forward to say they have no such tour plans whatsoever.
In a confounding turn of events, brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick said that there would be no Christmas tour, though event pages created by Live Nation [see screen cap] would seem to suggest otherwise. The Jonas Brothers’ statement stopped short, though, of denying that a tour had been in the works.
“It has come to our attention that dates for a possible December concert tour somehow found their way onto the internet. Due to scheduling issues we’re sorry to inform you that this won’t be possible,” the sibling trio said in a statement on their official fan club Web site. “We look forward to a wonderful touring season in 2010.”
The sibling trio continued, “At this point we have no specific events planned and no plans for any… If that changes we will of course include the fan club. So we’ll keep you posted there.”
A spokesperson for Live Nation did not respond to requests for comment.
In late September, TicketNews reported that dates for a Jonas Brothers tour apparently leaked from Live Nation. Though the 11 announced “12 Days of Christmas Tour” dates were quickly pulled from Live Nation’s concert directory, they could still be accessed through a simple Google search.
It appears that Live Nation not only jumped the gun in promoting the concert on its own site, but elsewhere on the Internet as well. Dates for the “12 Days of Christmas Tour” are listed on the popular music community Last.fm, where they are marked as having been “Imported by Live Nation” rather than added by an unverified source. The event pages, searchable on the Last.fm site, also include direct links back to Live Nation’s now-defunct Jonas Brothers concert listings to buy tickets.
The date-pull is an especially strange mix-up for Live Nation, considering the company holds a long-term touring deal with Jonas Brothers. The deal, signed into effect for late January 2008, was expected to span at least two years and more than 140 concerts around the world. Since the deal is still standing, it seems that Live Nation would be the first to know — and accurately confirm — any touring plans for the trio.
John Vlautin, vice president of communications for Live Nation, contacted TicketNews after deadline, around 5 p.m. on October 13. He credited the Jonas Brothers concert listings on the company’s site to an “employee error” but refused to answer additional questions about the situation.

Kevin Jonas is reportedly angry that news of his prenup was leaked. Last month it was reported that Jonas, 21, is demanding his fiancé Danielle Deleasa, 22, sign a prenuptial agreement before their wedding.
“It takes away from the romance,” an insider says of the leaked information.
Deleasa was allegedly furious the Jonas Brothers singer requested a prenup but those close to the star defend him saying he is only trying to protect his money. “He’s not trying to be a jerk. His team is just protecting his assets. It’s nothing against Danielle,” says a source.
Jonas has not commented. He and Deleasa were engaged in July after 3 years of dating.

JONAS UK Premiere

Jonas, which premiered on Disney Channel this past Saturday, stars Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas as members of a fictional band and lets the viewer in on the life of the young, rich and extremely famous.

UK writer Adam Tanswell caught up with the talented boys to chat about their music and how they have adjusted to having a TV show.

Q: So why do you think your music is so popular?

Joe: I think it’s because we write about things that are real to us, as well as things we go through every day. We’re the same age as a lot of the people that listen to our music and they’re going through the same things as we are, so we have similar experiences to talk about.

Q: And now you’ve got your own TV series, how is that?

Joe: It’s so exciting. We’re really proud of Jonas and we can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Q: Has writing songs for Jonas been different to writing for your regular albums?

Nick: Writing songs for the show has been a really cool experience because the writers always give us an outline of what they need for the episode and we write to that. We’ve been joking about it because it’s like now we don’t have to get our hearts broken to write a song about heartbreak. It’s a lot easier to do it this way.

Q: Were you scared about fronting a TV show?

Joe:We’re musicians, and acting is something that’s totally different for us, so we were pretty nervous about it.

Q: How different is acting to performing on stage?

Kevin: It adds a different element to Disney Channel. We get to do crazier things than you could do with a live audience because we have time to set things up.

Q: How similar are you to the characters we see on screen?

Kevin: Well, our stylist, Michelle Tomaszewski, works on the show, so the clothes are pretty similar. It’s really cool how they took the time to build things like that into the show.

The Jonas Brothers are best known as the trio of brothers who are currently enjoying success as a teen sensation band. They will appear at the Mohegan Sun Friday and Saturday.

But it seems the brothers have a charitable side outside of their rock image.

On Sunday, in an event closed to the public, the brothers will be at Dodd Stadium in Norwich to help raise awareness for the brothers’ Change for Children Foundation, an organization that encourages young people to get involved with their communities, and the HopeLine program, which works to prevent domestic violence.Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The brothers will also be playing in two kickball games “Kick for Change” against the winners of the Verizon Green Screen Community Contest. The winners are from the New England area.

Verizon Wireless and LG are rewarding members of the community who have made it a priority to give back with tickets to the exclusive event. No tickets will be made available to the public.

Verizon Wireless will also be making a donation to the Women’s Shelter of Southeastern Connecticut.

Five thousand tickets are being distributed through volunteer organizations and the Women’s Shelter of Southeastern Connecticut. The tickets are going to volunteers and individuals affected by domestic violence.

About the Jonas Brothers Green Screen Kickball Contest

Fans had the opportunity to either jam with the Jonas Brothers or play kickball with them via a green screen video live at the concert venues, at home, or from their mobile phones. They entered their videos on http://VCASTLive.vzw.com, where V CAST Live members voted on them. There were five weekly winners based on the videos that receive the highest number of votes each week.

The Jonas Brothers selected the grand prizewinner from the five weekly winners.

The grand prize winner was awarded the opportunity to hand pick their “Friends & Family” team by inviting nine friends and family members, all of whom were flown to play one kickball game, live and in person, against the Jonas Brothers this fall. The other four weekly winners each get to bring one guest.

The largest event of its kind, each We Day event celebrates the power of young people to change the lives of others. Every year, the We Day events feature a series of inspirational and motivational speeches by top leadership and social issues activists, speakers and entertainers.
But the action doesn’t stop here. Every person attending We Day has committed to take tangible actions for a better world. They’re part of a support network of students, educators and facilitators that stretches from coast to coast.
Students will take action throughout 2009-2010 through Free The Children’s campaigns to raise awareness and funds.
